What are they and how are they different?

This summer our mission is to raise awareness around healthy food choices and encourage physical activity to help parents and children prevent or reduce the risk of obesity. What we eat directly impacts our bodies, and gaining the knowledge to build healthy eating patterns is the key to a healthy future. The CDC recommends eating patterns rich in whole foods and low in ultra-processed foods to support a healthy lifestyle and manage a healthy weight. Eating whole foods daily is scientifically proven to help maintain a healthy weight while preventing and reducing the risk of most chronic diseases.
